The proposal is the result of a competition of ideas for a new infant and primary school in Fañabé neighbourhood, municipality of Adeje, south of Tenerife.

The area is defined by a steep slope and magnificent sea and La Gomera views.

The school yard is presented as a blank page, where anything can happen. The playground par excellence. This blank page protects the classrooms from the southern weather, as it covers them and hosts the many uses of the building. The area over the playground contains the kids area, with classrooms, toilets, dormitories and canteen; and the area below contains the teachers area, with a multi-purpose room and offices.

We propose a school that adapts to topography, with a respectful architecture that opens to the surrounding landscape and allows students to develop their imagination.
