The assignment consisted of creating a new public parking lot in the municipality of Arona, one of the main tourist areas in Tenerife.

We propose a public space where roads and parking could mix up well with the space intended for pedestrians. We organize the space to make as many parking places as possible without forgetting about the disabled parking places. The resulting space meets the quality requirements of pedestrians in the tourist area.

The different types of pavements and the proposed geometry for cork trees and planters endow the public space with a new look that meets the quality requirements of such a space.

The required shadow areas were provided by different specimens of Delonix Regia and Ficus Microcarpa, along with the proposed awning for the pedestrian space.
