We elaborate this proposal for a public competition of ideas whose goal is to develop social housing in a rectangular plot in El Rosario, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The proposal is defined by the study of the plot’s slope, with a 3 m difference between streets, and its geometry.
The building is organized in two blocks aligned with the main streets. There are 31 three-bedroom apartments and 12 two-bedroom apartments. The block facing the main street is presented as a lineal and continuous piece, and the block facing the rear street imitates the urban discontinuity of the area. These discontinuities on the façade are presented on the project as patios.
