The proposal consists of creating a new space for performing necropsies on animal specimens at La Tahonilla Recovery Centre for Wild Fauna.
The proposal is defined by a cube of fair-faced concrete with a bush hammered finish. This simple intervention gives us the opportunity to show a hard and industrial look on the exterior thanks to the outside finish and fold-out corrugated steel door in black. In contrast, the interior look is lighter thanks to the surgical green colour and the light that floods the space through the skylight.
The severity of the ensemble is inserted into the facilities’ existing vegetation as a rock in the landscape.
